Buriganga Talkies is returning once again with new possibilities
for storytelling in Bengali cinema. Produced by Tanim Noor,
Buriganga Talkies' third film, Kanabhula Paradox, is set to go
into production. This film will also mark the directorial debut
of the young director duo Ayman Asib Shadhin and Susmoy Sarker.
Blending time-travel, romance, and mystery, Kanabhula Paradox
features Sariful Razz and Sabila Nur in the lead roles. Through
a unique journey involving time, relationships, memory, and
mystery, the film aims to take audiences beyond familiar
storytelling structures.
Building on the love and success received from audiences for
Utshob and Bonolota Express, the production company aims to take
another step forward. The core inspiration for the film's story
comes from author Muhaiminul Islam Bappy's novel Kanabhulo
Paradox, published in 2024.
Ayman Asib Shadhin previously worked as the screenwriter and
dialogue writer for the Tanim Noor-directed web series Kaiser,
as well as the films Utshob and Bonolota Express. Susmoy Sarker
served as the story writer and chief assistant director on these
same three projects. Kanabhula Paradox is scheduled to be
released during Eid-ul-Adha in 2027.
